What is Profhilo?
Is an exclusive skin remodelling treatment designed for individuals with ageing skin that is lacking volume and elasticity. Profhilo stimulates the production of collagen and elastic through the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid and in doing so significantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as increasing hydration and firmness across the face resulting in an overall rejuvenated appearance. What areas can Profhilo treat?
Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas but can also effectively be used for rejuvenating the neck, décolleté, arms and hands.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend two treatments 4 weekly apart.
Will it hurt?
We apply a topical anaesthetic cream prior to treatment to numb the skin which will help to provide pain relief during the procedure.
Are there any side effects?
Immediately after treatment the treated area can appear slightly red and occasionally there is some mild bruising, swelling and tenderness. This Is all completely normal and generally reduces within a few days. No recovery time is required, and you can return to your daily activities immediately. You will be fully consulted before any treatment to discuss the side effects in detail.
